The 13th National Academic Conference on High Temperature Materials and Strength
The 13th National Academic Conference on High Temperature Materials and Strength was held in Chengdu, Sichuan from May 16th to May 20th. The Conference was hosted by High Temperature Materials and Strength Committee of Material Branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society and orgnized by the School of Mechanics and Engineering, SouthWest Jiaotong University. The conference aims to provide academic platforms on the mechanical behavior, damage and failure mechanisms, fracture mechanisms and structural integrity assessment of high temperature materials. Colleagues Charly Ma and Daniel Sun were invited to attend the meeting.
The topics of this Conference include:
Deformation and fracture mechanism at high temperature
Development and behavior discription of heat resistant steels, superalloys and other high temperature materials
Deformation and fracture of advanced high temperature materials (including intermetallics, ceramics and composites, etc.)
High temperature creep
High temperature fatigue
Interaction between creep and fatigue
High temperature damage analysis and design
Structural integrity assessment of high temperature materials and components containing defects
Life prediction and life extension of high temperature components and production equipment
Numerical simulation technology of high temperature creep and fatigue
Advanced test technology and application of high temperature materials and strength
